AirCheck does not provide a music, broadcast, performer, copyright or recording licence. The station must confirm that its licences and permissions cover every intended AirCheck use.
1. Agreement and authority
By activating AirCheck, the customer confirms that it controls the submitted stream or has the broadcaster's authority to record it and bind the relevant organisation to these terms.
2. Rights and licences
The customer is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licences, consents, notices and permissions needed to record, copy, store, transcribe, play, download and otherwise use the stream and its contents. This includes music, performances, adverts, interviews, caller contributions, syndicated material and third-party programmes.
A broadcast licence does not necessarily permit separate recording or storage. Customers should obtain written confirmation from their licensing bodies and rights advisers before commercial use.
3. People and personal data
The station is responsible for privacy information, staff policies and caller or contributor notices required for recorded speech and transcripts. AirCheck must not be used for covert or unlawful monitoring.
4. Customer instructions
StationCortex processes AirCheck material on the customer's instructions to provide the selected capture, retention, playback, transcription, classification, search, download and deletion functions. The Data Processing Terms apply where the material contains personal data processed for the customer.
5. Retention and deletion
Audio and transcripts are retained according to the purchased tier and account settings, then scheduled for deletion. A customer must export anything it is legally required to keep before expiry. Backup deletion may follow the normal secure backup lifecycle.
6. Accuracy and continuity
Streams may fail, change format or become unavailable. Detection, classification and transcription may omit, misidentify or incorrectly transcribe material. AirCheck is not a guaranteed statutory logger, compliance recorder or emergency archive unless a separate written agreement expressly says so.
7. Prohibited use
- recording a stream without authority;
- infringing copyright, performer, privacy or confidentiality rights;
- surveillance, harassment or unlawful profiling;
- retaining or sharing recordings longer or more widely than necessary;
- using transcripts without checking them against the audio where accuracy matters.
8. Claims and suspension
The customer must promptly investigate rights complaints and cooperate with lawful takedown or preservation requests. StationCortex may suspend capture or access where it reasonably believes continued processing creates legal, security or rights risk.
