1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files placed on your browser or device. StationCortex may also use local storage and similar technologies. In this notice, "cookies" covers all of these technologies.
2. Our approach
Essential technologies operate where they are required to provide a service you request, protect Cortex, maintain sign-in or process a payment. Analytics and marketing technologies remain off unless you actively allow them. Rejecting optional cookies is as easy as accepting them.
3. Current cookie categories
Used for authentication, account security, fraud prevention, service delivery, load balancing, Stripe checkout and recording your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off through our panel because Cortex may not work securely without them.
- StationCortex consent record: stores the choices you make in your browser for up to 180 days.
- Supabase authentication: maintains a secure signed-in session and protects access to your station workspace. Duration depends on the session and security settings.
- Stripe: may set security, fraud-prevention and checkout technologies when you use payment services. Stripe controls the exact duration of its technologies.
Analytics — optional
If enabled, analytics helps us understand visits, performance and how people use Cortex. No analytics technology should load before you give permission.
Marketing — optional
If enabled, marketing technology can measure campaigns and help keep promotions relevant. No advertising or behavioural tracking technology should load before you give permission.
4. How consent is enforced
Optional categories default to off. Your choice is recorded only after you select Accept all, Reject optional or save individual settings. Cortex makes the saved choice available to optional integrations so they can start only when the matching permission has been granted. Withdrawing permission also instructs supported integrations to stop and removes common optional first-party tracking cookies.
5. Change or withdraw your choice
Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any StationCortex page to review or change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies through your browser. If you clear browser storage, Cortex will ask for your choice again.
6. Third-party services
Some functions are supplied by trusted providers, including Supabase and Stripe. Their own notices explain technologies they control. StationCortex reviews the technologies used by the live service and will update this notice and request fresh consent if the purposes materially change.
